There have been issues with points being incorrect this year for various reasons. It needs to be stressed that if the rider knows of an issue they need to inform the trophy secretary asap so that points can be re-checked. The points we use are collated off the EGB system.
A Young Rider trophy Emika has gone missing – if anyone knows of its whereabouts please let us know.
It has been queried whether associate members should be included in the points for trophies, the committee were unanimous that they should be where relevant for non-competitive ride trophies. The committee would like to draw riders attention to the criteria applying to each trophy which can be found on the Lindum web pages.
The committee has decided to take over the decision re the winner of the Revcom Trophy as the present system does not really work.
It was decided to put a plea out on Facebook and at the BAM for volunteers to organise and help with rides – without volunteers rides run the risk of them not happening.
It was decided to approach First Aiders to ask them if they could indicate which rides they could attend to avoid last minute panics.
Also a draft calendar, both competitive and social along with appropriate dates changes/risk assessments/maps etc needs to be forwarded to Meridian for approval for this years rides. This also needs doing for other county council areas.
Next Meeting: Friday 6th March 2020 at Langworth Memorial Hall 7-9pm – all welcome
